Resources

Together with our permanent collection and changing exhibitions we have a variety of resources available to visitors

Our Browsing Area includes folders on local topics and space to sit and peruse together with our Listening Posts: recordings of local residents and their memories.

By prior arrangement visitors can access our Research Room which offers a small reference library, information files, maps and photographs.

Please bear in mind that a large part of our collection is held in our store room. By letting us know in advance of your visit, objects may removed from storage and made available for your visit.

We can also arrange a variety of handling boxes for loan to schools and other organisations.
