Schools
Education visits can be arranged free of charge, anytime of year, with advanced notice.
Previous schools have combined a visit to the museum with a guided walk around the village, a study of the beach or a visit to the library downstairs. This works well for larger groups due to limited space within our gallery.
A self-led visit means pupils can browse our gallery (perhaps using our quiz sheets) or your staff may opt to focus on a particular display related to your classroom topic.
If you would prefer to have a Volunteer Museum Guide available to your group please let us know in advance.
Sorry we do not have space for you to eat lunch.
WOULD YOU LIKE THE MUSEUM TO COME TO YOU?
We loan handling boxes full of interesting objects to study. Alternatively we can arrange for a Volunteer guide to come along with objects related to your topic area.
Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
